Standardizing Communication for NICU Nurses to Enhance Quality of Patient Care
Hawaii Pacific Health (HPH) is a healthcare network comprised of four hospitals, 70 clinic locations statewide, and 7,000 healthcare professionals covering Hawaii and the Pacific Region.
After learning its communication workflow was disorganized and needed to be streamlined, clinical leaders at HPH implemented I-PASS to improve the organization’s quality and safety behaviors within its neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). Our case study explores how the I-PASS solution helped HPH improve patient safety, decrease overtime, and eventually win the HIMSS Davies Enterprise Award.
Thanks for your interest in the I-PASS Institute. After completing the form you'll be able to review the case study and learn more about why HPH leaders sought to implement I-PASS specifically tailored to NICU nurses.
